I'm a life-long educator.  I have spent my entire life in the service of students. My career started n the Aldine Independent School District and spanned over 36 years.  

 

I spent the first 20 years of my career at the elementary level.  The last 16 years of my career were spent at the high school level. During these years I served as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal and principal.  

 

During my time at the secondary level, I was fortunate to open MacArthur Ninth Grade School as the principal.  I spent 10 years at that school and then moved to be the principal of Eisenhower Senior High School.  I served that community until 2010 when I retired.  

 

Since retirement I have been able to serve the students and schools in the Houston area as a Professional Service Provider.  A "PSP" is an expert educator who has been vetted by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the Texas Center for District and School Support (TCDSS) to work with underperforming schools and districts identified as Improvement Required in the state intervention system. 

 

I am a very proud mother and grandmother.  As a proud "Full Blooded Italian," my family is extremely important to me.  When not working, I thoroughly enjoy watching my 4 beautiful grands in their selected activities.  

 

I am also a huge Houston Texans, Houston Astro's, and Houston Rocket's fan.  I absolutely love watching all of these sports and rooting on my teams.  

 

I am also a big soccer fan and loved watching the USA Women's Soccer team win the World Cup!!!    Looking forward to them winning the Olympics!!!
